39 (for one more week). I've seen one in town here and actually saw another Prius in a Clearwater golf shop parking lot the other day. It didn't belong to anyone in the store, though.
Beat you by four years! 79, white hair and muzzy. And amen to the back support issue. Am I the oldest? Still looking for challengers.
There's a guy saying he's 87 around, another long-lived engineer, if I remember right. But 79's nothing to sneeze at. Good for you. You have to figure, with 10K+ members, there's a pretty broad distribution across ALL spectra.
I just got my Prius on Saturday - and I am 55 If my white is showing - I'd better get around to a touch-up!! Also in South Jersey!! ______________________________ 2005 Seaside #6
32 here. I'm a programmer but I'm not a gadget freaky (no IPOD, don't even have cable). The Denver area is loaded with Prii. There are 3 of us on my street! Next street over there's an insight and there's another driftwood pearle that lives somewhere nearby. No one waves. I thought it would be sorta like with motor cycles but appearently not. It does seem like the demographics are shifted somewhat to the older crowd, but here in CO there are quite a few 30 somethings driving around in them.
37 here. Software Engineer. Massive technology freak. Love gadgets! Prius is probably the best combination of technology and gadgetry I've experienced.
64 retired and loving it. We need to keep waving at other Prius drivers, maybe eventually they might catch on. I started driving sports cars in Southern California in the early 1960s and we all waved at each other. All except the Corvette drivers that is, they never did get the idea.
38 and lovin' every new year even more than the last. I'm even enjoying those strands of grey that are creeping in. I've seen two other Prii here in my neck of the woods... one from a distance, and the other right in front of me. I don't think the one in front of me even noticed I was there... too busy looking at the Energy Monitor, I guess. Big trucks and small sports cars. That's Alabama for ya'.
46- There are 3 other Prii in my "small" town of 26K. Can retire (and likely will) in 15 months. (27 yrs in police work is enuff)
41 in Maryland - hun! Put me down firmly in the gadget-freak column. I can't stop thiking about that SKS-watch thread on the forum! I see 5 or 6 Prii a week during my commute. I wave. Others don't
56 in Illinois; more gray than I want to admit (yea, it's gray). I've seen several Prii in our area and more as time goes on. SUV's predominate (we have one too - Acura MDX) but more and more smaller cars.
FYI: There's an old "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode where Larry keeps ranting about this Prius driver he keeps seeing that won't wave back to him in his Prius. Pretty funny.
Had a MAJOR heart attack 2 years ago. So happy to alive and 50 today. I am a total gadget freak, as porven by the 2 Segways I also own. Both of which will fit nicely in the back of the Prius with the back sets folded down. BTW, the Segways are totally Green machines.
