We moved here ( AZ) Mesa , area from the midwest. So I am looking for a good service dealership to have the Inverter coolant pump replaced. and If I ever need any more service done on our prius where should I take my prius ? help !!! thanks
I typed "Toyota Dealers near Mesa AZ" into Google maps and came up with 6 choices: three in Mesa, one each in Chandler, Tempe and Scottsdale. I don't know anything about any of them; it's been a long time since I've lived there. But for warranty replacement, any of them should do fine and you can get an idea from there. I'd pick the nearest one to where you live first.
I googled dealership reviews and found this site for Arizona Earnhardt had the most ratings and the highest ones as well. Arizona Toyota Dealers - Dealer Directory
We take ours to Earnhart (Superstition Springs area, Hwy 60 and N. Power Road). They are okay and will only do the work you want if you are specific about it. Just last week, we took a Prius in for a 20k service. All I wanted was an oil and filter change and an ATF drain and fill (with an ATF sample for analysis by Blackstone Labs). The service guy tried to talk me into a higher priced 20k service that includes checking the brake pads and such, which I declined. He also suggested an ATF flush which I also declined. Once the kibitzing was over, they did a great job and got me out of there relatively quickly - and they did all the other stuff called for in the more expensive 20k service free of charge! BTW, if you're new to Mesa, then you must go to these places: - Red White and Brew on N. Power Rd. and McDowell. Great food and large portions at very reasonable prices. - Oregano's on Gilbert Road in Gilbert. The best dessert you ever ate. Both of them have web sites. Enjoy!
Welcome. This won't have any bearing on you due to distance, but I bought from Larry Miller in Peoria, and do not recommend their service department at all, nor do I recommend the one in Avondale. But good luck with your local dealers. You don't always have to go to a dealer for certain things though. But yes for the warranty inverter pump. Mine went belly up before the recall came out though. Good luck.
