I have a 2010 Prius and the spaire tire under the rear floor with the jack bolted on top of it and the valve stem pointed down so you would need to remove everything to Ck the air had less than 40 psi in it! It needs 60psi....have it checked!

yeah, i hate that design. although mine never loses air, i still feel the need to check it. if i'm lazy, i reach in and give it the squeeze test.

The perfect accessory for this is an air hose extender - I got one from Amazon but those seem to be out of stock now. It was an "Accu-gage - Chek A Spare, Valve Extender". Perhaps Pep Boys/Napa auto stores have something similar.

I ran the hose up into the small well on the driver's side of the cargo area where it's quite easy to get to to check pressure/fill if needed.

This reminds me that I need to pick up a 12V compressor next time I see one on sale.
