I have Prius IV. When I push to park the cars bounces back and forward. I noticed when I push Power instead of park it does it less but it's still there. Any suggestions? this is the only unpleasant experience with Prius.
You use the front and rear bumpers as feelers: Back in - Bump! Pull forward - Bump! Back up halfway. A perfect parking job every time. Tom
I understand your comment regarding bouncing when parking, but help me understand what you mean when you say, 'I push Power instead of park...' Do you mean when you start the system, after it's been turned off from parking? My Prius rolls slightly after I turn it off, but I keep my foot on the brake until the car stops completely on the parking knuckle. I'll use the manual parking brake if I'm on an incline.
is the car completely stopped before you push park? i'm staying out of the spidey/qb conversation!:flock:
Sheep and Chicago style aside... Set parking brake first...then press park or power (which automatically puts it into park).
I checked directly with Japan. They feel it should be a pleasurable experience. Japan is Weird - If the car's rockin', don't come a-knock
Well one can push the Power on/off bottom while the car is on and stopped to put it on park and turn it off at the same time. old cars had this habit, i would think that Prius would handle this better.
