Well, after my melodramatic hemming and hawing, I just put a deposit down: 2010 Prius III with nav/backup camera, under $23k + TTL.
Is this one used? How many miles on it? That's the same model/option package I have, I love it and I suspect you will too!
Yep, used with under 15k miles on it. I'm stupid excited to go pick it up, and am now cursing the work week I have to get through before the trip to go get it.
Sticker on a 2011 III with nav is close to $27k, and most dealers are selling for over sticker right now, if they even have any on the lot (no dealer within 500 miles of me does).
Plenty of Prius here in Harrisburg! At least 10 showing between 2 dealers. No idea on pricing though...
Congrats! You got a hell of a deal. But thats wayy too far. How much does your plane ticket cost? Are you going solo? I wouldn't do it for my sanity. That's a long drive.
Plane tickets are technically free, we have airline miles we can cash in. Lucky, otherwise tickets would run over $500 apiece. It'll definitely be a hell of a drive, but my spouse and I are going to turn it into a mini road trip and try to have fun with it.

Our main sightseeing will probably be checking out NYC for a couple hours on Friday night. We've never been, always wanted to go, so this will be a little taste of what's to come in a future trip. The actual road trip portion of the trip will probably be a lot of driving straight through - gotta be back in TX by Sunday night, and we both have a ton of work that can be done with a laptop and power inverter. Who knows, maybe we'll actually come home and be ahead in work!
