All I can get to work is :d . How do we get the angry, astonished and sunglasses emoticon? Are there more we can use on this site? It would make the Forums a little more fun to read!
Yeah, don't use the quick reply. Hit the reply button on the left under the last post or hit go advanced in the quick reply box. Then you'll see smileys and a more button.
Ya but I use a phone. Wife and kids are always on the computer. I just press : and then ) for a smile, : and p for a tounge smile. : and d for a big grin. So I meant keyboard shortcuts for the emoticons. Not the pictures.

When you go to "more" smileys, there are the smileys, and the keyboard shortcuts that create them. So, pick out the ones you want, and learn the shortcuts! :thumb: [ created by pressing : thumb : with no spaces ]
I think the key part is the OP is using his phone. Phone browser may not support all the emoticons. I know I'm unable to use emoticons when using Chrome.
Call me dumb but I am unable to use smileys while using google chrome. Anyone else have this trouble or suggestions how to fix it? The smileys work fine using ie7. oh when typing the text the smileys don't work but once posted they appear. :embarassed:
