Auto Mate Car Alarm honk disable?

Greetings.

I am hoping to disable the HONK when arming/disarming my AUTO MATE AM1 car alarm. Heck, I'd even take advice on how to disable it entirely. It honks THREE TIMES if I set my Solar fan on. Sheesh!

I found several threads with info on KARR alarm settings but nothing for AUTO MATE.

I didn't even want a Car alarm. When we were signing papers they offered me a free one so I took it.

But I leave for work very early and I am hating the obnoxious HONK! when I get into my car.

In the manual for the AUTO MATE they list the HONK as option 11 but give no info about how to enter settings or even how to change option 11 when I get there.

My Dealer is very far away so I am not looking forward to a trip back if they have to do it there.
