Scanguage mounting locations

    I want to install a scanguage in my G3 but I'm picky about the install looking "factory". I installed one in my FJ Cruiser using a maplight/sunglass holder from a Honda Accord (see below). Anyone have any ideas or photos of a nice looking install? See FJ Cruiser forum thread here thread here.

    Mine fits perfectly, on Velcro, on the flat area just in front of the steering wheel.

    Thats where I put mine. I know its boring but it works for me.

    I bought a Pro-Fit bracket that mounts to the left pillar between the driver's door and the little side front window. It is a little larger than the Scanguage, so I cut the "pad" and super glued the unit together. It leaves teh rear cable connection open and I used that one. I put some black electrical tape over the side female connection point to hide the white opening. It looks really nice, and the blue background matches the Prius dash light color at night.
