I have done a bunch of searching and can't seem to find it. All I know is that this car showed up in 2010 SEMA.
Not sure if the kit is available, but I know this is a demo for the Seibon CF hoods. Prius Carbon Fibor Hood, Prius Carbon Fiber Body Panels, Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood: Juicedhybrid.com (no, I'm not affiliated with that website, just providing a link to show the product). Maybe it's a custom one-off created by Seibon. Try contacting them for info: SEIBON
If you put that on there, you may not want to let the wife drive it! CRUNCH! There is a lady at work that has the front of her 2010 IV with nav/roof duct taped across the front to hold it together. She keeps running into the parking spot barriers.
Ya that's my biggest fear of doing anything but urethane for a front lip even with me driving. CF is expensive and doesn't hold up well to parking blocks and the like.
Spoke with Paul Goldman at juicedhybrid.com and he said Seibon is not currently selling their CF lip kit, but only their CF hood.. Paul did say that he was not sure of any future plans of offering the lip kit but that it might be possible if their CF hoods sell well.
Hey Shawn, I wanted to introduce myself to you as I'm a new 2011 Prius IV owner (Lessee!). I just installed fog lamps, OEM, with the HID 6000 bulb, tinted the windows 35%, shark fin antenna. I have the solar panel. I'm interested in getting HID lights for the complete headlamp assembly. Was told that you're the man to ask? Get back to me when you get a chance. Thanks, BTW, your car is tight!
How much weight reduction will a CF hood actually yield on our car? The hood is already very light haha. Would make more sense to do the hatch and doors
