    Best wishes for a well-deserved vacation. I assume this is a vacation from PriusChat b/c anyone with as many posts as you deserves to get away from it. And just maybe, one of our Haiwaii PCers will treat you to your favorite beach cocktail.

    Danny if you're listening, you could pay her vacation, oops, I mean travel expenses in return for some PC market research in the 50th state. I'm just saying...

    We're planning on going to that temple you mentioned... um, Byodo-In, and we'll hit the beach at Wikiki, sip a few Mai Tais, maybe walk over to the Palace, and tour that.
    Oahu is our long day - like, 7am - 11pm. We have plenty of time to chill. :rockon:

    We're on Oahu on April 1st - Friday.

    If you dock in Lahaina, Maui you won't need to go on a whale watch. They'll be jumping around the boat. Make sure you practice the "hang loose" sign. You'll be seeing it a lot there.

    Oh, and stop at the Cheesegurger in Paradise for a snack. The entertainment and best sunset views are upstairs.

    If you have a bunch of electronic gadgets, take a power strip and short extension cord.. Cruise ships usually don't have lot of power outlets.

    Got one in the suitcase - thanks! This is our fourth cruise :thumb:

    I'm really happy because we discovered that our Nooks and my cellphone uses The Very Same charging tip! Which means, if my cellphone needs charging, I can just plug it in for a (slower) charge from the Nook charger! (the slightly lower amperage - voltage is the same - so it won't hurt it)

    Okay, I'm really gone now... off to take my nap.

    Update:

    We are currently in Waikiki, about to go to the beach - found a free PC to use in a shopping mall (seriously, it says "Feel FREE to use" on it!), so I checked email/FB/PC.

    We are having an incredibly wonderful time! :)

    I've been taking some photos of "Prius in Paradise" when I can, too. :thumb:
