Hello Group - I have a problem with the rear passenger side lower Skirt or Fascia, under the rear Bumper and my local Dealer wants $250.00+ for that little piece of plastic .... And must I paint it? I got shaved by curb. Any Ideas? Thanks in Advance.

I have a 2004 prius. Part of my rear bumper skirt, on the passenger side, broke off. What function does this have? The dealer wanted $190.00 plus tax just for the part. This is the black rubber piece below the rear bumper.
The function is aerodynamics and aesthetics. If you look for an online Toyota dealer, they will likely be able to get it for around $100.
