And just how does this qualify for the Main Prius Forum????
[man, there has been a rash of these things since the PriusChat software upgrade.]

    I did.

But now that this thread is properly placed in the Newbie Forum, I'm guessing my question was answered.

But what about all of the other misplaced threads in the Main Prius Forum I posted to with the same (apparently not 'nicely') reply? ;)
Need I first ask nicely? JK

well another mod moved it from the "Prius & Hybrid News" forum to here so I wanted to let him move it after your first request.

Most of the threads in the main forum aren't moved. It's usually the other threads in other forums that are moved (that is unless there's a blatantly out-of-place thread in the main forum.. such as one that should be in FHOP lol).

I am new to this Chat Forum but not new to the Prius - love it! I had a 2004 Prius which I have handed down to my daughter in College. I have a 2011 model 2 now. I have been searching thru the internet to find the instructions to disable the Reverse beeping and the instructions that I have found does not work. Can anyone advise?

Welcome to PriusChat. To disable the reverse beep, you'll need a ScanGauge or find a dealer willing to disable the it. Some dealers will and some will not. Some will charge and some will not. There are a lot of reverse beep threads so do a search.

He is probably off driving one of those new Porshe hybrids. They fixed the age-ol Porshe understeer problem, with the hybrid system they implemented. Its been dusting the competition since.....
