I LOVE my new silver IV 2011 Prius.. Just got it today, but I need seat covers. Any recommendations on the best supplier for front seat sheepskin seat covers? There were some threads on this a while ago - but no followup and no recommendations... ??? LMK!
I would imagine someone is making them for the 3rd gen's. Just make sure they tested airbag capability. and yes, sheepskin is pretty darn luxurious that's for sure I think I would like leather upholstery the very best though. Heated leather.
It's funny but it seems to me that Sheep Skin seat covers go through cycles of popularity and unpopularity... I haven't really been looking for them recently but you just don't see them in cars very much... Many years ago, I put real sheepskin seat covers on Bench Seats in a pick-up of mine. Except for dangerously sliding to the left or right if I was driving too fast and made a hard turn...(these were bench seats) I loved them. Warm in the Winter...Cool in The Summer..and IMO relatively easy to take care of... Good luck with your search...and try to bring the trend back...
OK I did it! I ordered gray sheepskin covers from Shear Comfort online! I LOVE them! If/when it ever stops raining here in Northern California, I will take a picture and post it so you can see them!!!!
