Finally got my Okole seat covers both front and back, placed the order on 2/26-received them on 3/25.I ordered them with the seat heater, the back pocket for the front seats, the Prius logo, and the seat care kit. Only manage to put the driver seat cover on this weekend, had other things to do.
So far so good!Did you say the cost with shipping? They are better looking then I thought they would be! Good color choice!
thanks it was 666 dollars, i like the color, it contrast with the rest of the inside its much easier if you remove the seat from its bolts, i like the quality and the fit, they are both pretty good. Ill post some pics of the installation and tips by the end of the week
I put on my driver side seat cover today. I think I am going to leave the headrest cover off, I feel it looks better.
The fit on the headrests does look a little loose. I gather some of the wrinkles come out after a few days. Looks like the color match worked out well. I am not so certain about mine. I ordered black with beige piping thinking "even if the beige doesn't exactly match the beige interior a little accent will look better than all black". We'll see when they get here later this week... I wish my interior was grey too.
Wernolabound that seems like a nice color combo, it will make a nice contrast with the interior, and the piping was a nice touch. Did you order a swatch sample before ordering, that really helped me with my color selection.
No I didn't order a sample. Perhaps that was a mistake.... I figured it was important to get them covered ASAP. With a dog and two kids riding in the car it has gotten mighty dirty waiting for them to cut the covers. Hopefully it will be okay even if the color is not a perfect match. I hated to buy black covers but the beige color covers didn't really look too close to the interior color of the car. In Miami black is not a color I would normally choose for my interior. The piping shouldn't clashh too much if it isn't an exact match. Hopefully!!!
A couple observations about the Okole seat covers. they don't feel as cold as the leather seats in the morning. I am hoping they wont be as hot in the summer also. If you have a seat heater and get the Okole covers order the seat heater, you can barely feel the heat from the seat heater on the Prius. I like the seat heater on the Okoles, it has 3 settings and the heat is not as hot as the Prius seat heater, you ll feel the heat better on the seat than the backrest. The padding on the Okole was a nice surprise, the padding on the Prius seats is thin. Installation Tips It will much easier if you remove the bolts holding the seat to the car. It will be much easier to install the seat covers. You need a 14 mm socket The driver side backrest and seat cover have a okole tag, PIC 1 the passenger side doesn't. When working on the bottom of the seat, have the backrest all the way forward, this allows you the most room to under the seat. PIC 2 Unhook the elastic to the change catcher, no need to cut it off PIC 3 Move the backrest all the way back and install the seat cover, secure the the straps that go from back to front first, Pic 4 The car seat side bottom panel can be pull back to make it easier to put the strap in and adjust the seat cover PIC 5 If you need more room to adjust the seat cover you can unscrew the panel at the backrest handle PIC 9 Install the backrest cover, hold up the Prius seat change catcher, PICS 6,7 Slide cover over Prius seat change catcher, Follow step 2,2a,2b on instruction sheet PIC 10 Bottom of seat after all straps and hooks from seat cover are installed PIC 8
