While comparing 2010 v. 2011 specs at Edmunds.com, I see that the "RS3200 Plus Security System" is not listed as not available on the 2011 model. This is the only difference between 2010 and 2011 (aside from VIN and pricing) that I can find between the two model years. I assume this means that the 2011 Prius does not have the blinking red dash light when the vehicle is off, vacated and locked. Happy Motoring, Tom
The blinking red engine immobilizer dash light is standard on the Prius and has nothing to do with the RS3200 security system.
11's are in upstate NY. 4's have new styled mag wheels and cost $30000 with heated leather, nav or solar powered cooling. 3's @ $23,500. 6 on lot today.
I'm getting my 2011 Prius today! So excited. It's a Prius Three in Blizzard Pearl with Nav. I'm giving up my 2005 Mustang GT convertible w/ a Roush kit, so I'm kinda sad since the 'Stang was a great car, especially during the summer! Still, I know I'll be happy spending less time at the pump and driving around LA in the Prius!

I've had my 2011 Prius 4 for a couple days. I am averaging about 49MPG on my first 230 miles driven. So far so good. It also has a smoother and quieter ride than my 2007 Civic. Love my grey leather and Bluetooth!!
Yes, the Nav system is integrated with the radio. So adding Nav takes up some of the room that could otherwise be filled with disk storage. Hence, the nav system has a 4-disk changer, while the non-nav has a 6-disk changer. CD changers are overrated, though. With all the different ways to get music into this car, you aren't likely to miss those two extra disks. I always use bluetooth audio from my iPhone (so convenient, and it's always a good song!), my SO uses FM radio, and then there's USB (for an iPod or flash drive), satellite, aux input...
I'd probably ditch the Toyoguard stuff, if possible. Some states like Oregon, have no sales tax. For those who live in Vancouver, WA (near the border w/Oregon), they have it great (maybe not for the car aspect, since WA would probably make you pay WA sales tax if you register your car in WA). OR has no sales tax and WA has no state income tax!

I didn't notice any purple hue to the grey one we rented in February. It sure looked sharp when it was all shined up I had hand washed it so we had a nice clean car to drive on our trip Mike
