I've owned the Prius for about 3 months now. Put about 3,000 miles on it already. I absolutely love it. It's delivering the gas mileage as advertised. Its consumes more in the cold days here in Ontario Canada but that's to be expected. Everything works great. Love the stereo in it. Awesome sound. Rides great for a smaller car. Lots of room inside, especially with the rear seats down. Driving in Eco mode is perfect for winter driving. I've driven it on snow and ice and it was great. The anti-skid system helps a lot. I didn't expect it to be so good in snow and ice on the factory all season tires. I've read a lot about the car and I have been very satisfied with it so far. If you drive it the way it was designed, it will offer a great ride with unsurpassed economy. Even my 18 year old son loves to drive it. He says it's pretty cool!! I noticed one small dash rattle and have narrowed it down to the upper glove compartment lid. I will fix it when I get time. Best car you can get for the money..... Rick
I'm glad you're still loving yours after 3 months! I'm 3 weeks in and I am still quite impressed. I feel like I'm driving around in a space capsule from time to time
Rick , I'm glad you're enjoying your Prius. You can't get a better review than from your 18 year old son.
Glad to hear you are loving your new car. That is nice to hear that your 18 year old thinks it is cool
Rick, I've owned my Prius almost a year. I can honestly say I love this car more today than when I first took delivery. After 20K miles, it's still quiet, responsive, economical, smooth and most of all MINE!
Hey Rick - I picked my 2010 up October 2009 and feel the same way. Still loving it. That's great that you're son likes it too. Enjoy it!! Ray
Got mine about 3 months ago as well and I have to say that my only regret getting my 2010 Prius was that I didn't get it a year ago when I purchased that insipid 2010 Honda Insight. Sadly I listened to the negative hype that was going on with Toyota at the time and that deterred me from getting the Prius. That and I had owned Honda Elements for many years prior. I figured where could I go wrong getting another Honda. Was I sadly mistaken. Had I purchased the Civic Hybrid, I think I would have been happy. The Insight was just horrible. Honda didn't take the time to put their quality into the car before sending it out to compete with the Prius. In my opinion and I am sure the opinions of many on here. The Prius is by far a much better car and a lot more fun to drive.
