PVC Clazzio seat covers

    The leather ones have been talked about quite a bit, but does anyone have the PVC ones? I'm on the edge of buying them but I just want to hear some first hand experience with them before I do so

    Naw my buddy got the perforated leather ones. The sides of those are PVC though and I couldnt really tell the difference... maybe I'm easy to please haha

    Clazzio and Katzkin etc are mostly PVC. As the previous poster mentioned, you really can't tell what's plastic, and what's real...

    Did you end up getting the full PVC seat covers? I am contemplating purchasing a set. There is a 200.00 price difference between the leather and full PVC. Any pics?

    I have the PVC covers in grey and love them. They're quite a but softer than the leather covers, and everybody thinks that they're leather seats. No pix, as I'm at work, but I'll post some when I get home

    murasaki, did you get the dark grey color? and about how much does a pvc cover cost ya after shipping? i've been thinking about suede inserts but i know that would look too goofy...i'm tempted though haha

    I do have the dark grey covers and they're a perfect match. I ordered the covers from bean garage so it was 270 shipped I think. I could be wrong

    Any Pics???? I may place the order for the light grey all PVC. I guess it takes 8-12 weeks for delivery from Japan :(

    Sorry greg, totally spaced on the pics. I'm at work now but maybe on my lunch break I'll snap a few pix. The 8-12 week wait may be longer as I hear they're pretty backed up on orders on top of their recent misfortunes

    I believe the grey is a pretty common color and may be stocked in the CA Store. You may want to contact them or a retailer and ask about availability. When I purchased mine from Sparks Toyota in NC, the black, gray and tan were in stock and shipped immediately. I had to wait because I when with the Ivory with black stitching which was considered a custome order.

    Does anyone have the full PVC and can comment on how they feel in the summer when it is hot?

    I remember cars from the 70's with thick vinyl upholestry, and actually it was pretty good. Looked like leather, waterproof, durable...but the only drawback was they absorbed heat in the summer and you'd stick to them..

    I'd be curious as to how PVC behaves.

    I am interested in pics, too. Also:

    1) Do the covers smell? It seems like PVC would have an odor, at least initially, or possibly when hot.
    2) Do the covers adequately protect the seat from spills? Do they protect them from anything other than the sun?
    3) Are they comfortable to sit on even in the summer heat? (One PC post said they were, just wanted to confirm)

    I checked out Sparks and Bean garage. The dark grey was in stock. The light grey was not.

    Sorry for the late response. Here's a quick pic I took with my iPhone on my break. The color is spot on and people think they're leather seats. Smelled a little at first, but nothing too offending. They're a little cold in the winter and a little warm in the summer, but not as bad as real leather

    Did you get the dark gray or just "gray" colored covers? I checked out Bean Garage for the all PVC and I only see light gray and gray.... I just wanna make sure the color matches with my dark gray interior.

    I didnt want to start a new thread on this topic. Does clazzio charge your card immediately for the full pvc seat covers or do they charge you when they ship? Was the wait time to get them as long as they state on their site, 10 to 14 weeks? And how do they hold up in the long run?

    Bump. I might be ordering some clazzios this week and I really would like some opinions on the full PVC covers so that I can make the best derision.
