Hi Craig, I and my friend are both looking for a Prius. We are also in the Tampa Bay area. Do you have leather interior? Color? Good to hear about the audio and GPS. Why are you selling it? Any more pics available? You can email me. Thanks!!!
Angel, The interior is cloth in Bisque color(beige). It was scotch guarded a few months ago and is spotless!! We are selling because I have my eye on a Hyundai Sonata Turbo. I test drove it and 280hp is calling me!! If you want to come see it please let me know. I am in Brooksville. Craig
that is a great price these days. wish i were in your area, but, i need to get rid of an 04 as well. all the best!
Hi Craig! Thanks for the info. My friend and I went to Toyota dealership looking for a new one. THere are none!!!! Yours is looking better and better. I live way south of Tampa. I wish i could just breeze on over. No accidents? Do you have title? An extended warranty?? Thanks again!
Nice price Craig. Should sell quickly with those options. There are not many used Prius out there that are not rental cars. A dealer would ask that price, and you would still have to pay tax and doc fees, a few thousand more.
For the Prii that I've purchased new and one other my mom bought used(at 2 years/33K), we have all purchased our extended warranty later. You have until 3 years/36,000 miles to purchase Toyota's Platinum extended warranty. I shopped around with local dealers and online (think referrals by searching PriusChat) and paid from $980-$1050 for a 7 year/100,000 mile extended warranty on each car. I still own 2 of the 3 Prii my wife and I purchased and the extended warranty was accepted for every repair until the 7yr/100K limit. (Although once I had to go to a different dealer to get the 6 Disc Changer replaced under warranty, the first refused to even check with Toyota and said no coverage) My mom purchased her extended Toyota platinum 6yr/75K for $1,100 through the same dealer/same day she bought it used (2yrs old/33K miles) and had just about everything that could go wrong with a 2001 go wrong - her 1st 6 months ownership had the car in a dealer 45-50% of the time. It was covered under initial basic warranty under the 36K and extended after that. I felt bad but reassured her she ended up with newer parts/an upgraded car. She still drives it today and it still looks like new. My point is you have both existing coverage and can get an extended warranty if that's what you want.
Thanks, John. I knew that about the extended warranties..but I wanted to ask Craig.. it he had one already.. and maybe it is transferable? Ya know? Speaking of... Craig! Where are ya?? Test driving his turbo dream probably!!
