Which kit did you use and where did you install the ballasts? Any pics of the install? I'm thinking of doing this also.

Thank god you used projectors and not just a pnp kit in the halogen reflectors...

Output is a little wonky, but much better than most cheap projector kits from ebay I have seen.

Agreed! Although I have no room to talk. I'm just using my factory HID headlight to house my kit. lol

For anyone considering an HID P&P kit take a look at these bulb illumination tests. The OEM Phillips 85122+ (non-colorshifting version) out performs just about every kit bulb on the market. If you like a whiter light and don't mind a small loss of lumens then the 85122 (color shifting version that comes stock on Prius) works well and exhibits a small color shift after approx. 100hrs.

Also consider the Osram 66240. TRS started selling these bulbs because of all the fake "85122+" bulbs being sold on eBay. You get what you pay for. :)

    Oops. Sorry about that. :(

Ohh BTW. I spoke with Nate at TRS today about retrofitting the Morimoto Mini H1 or Mini DRS and he said there would likely be a small amount of cutting involved but it would be a lot easier than using the FX-R projector. If you are not skerd of epoxy he felt that the FX would be a better upgrade.
