    After all these years . . . no . . . DECADES! A politician finally says something that makes sense? Wow!! What ever happened to the ignorant ones, that used to say, "I've got a God given right, to drive the biggest, fattest, heaviest, largest, asphalt crushing vehicle that I can afford ". This is a red letter day . . . and it was out of the mouth of a Republican no less?! SHAME on democrats ... they should have been the ones to make that statement.

    Obama bought a Ford Escape Hybrid and McCain a Ford Fusion Hybrid. Members of both parties buy vehicles to make statements. This is nothing new, really.

    I suspect they caught on to the fact that if they are reimbursed at the IRS mileage rate they turn a profit.
