15" wheel center caps

My caps are on the way; $19.96 on Ebay. My plan is to pop the wheel covers back on when taking a long highway trip. I figure the effect on city MPG can't be measured.

I ordered on 3/3/2011. They arrived 3/12/2011. Good quality; fit fine.

They charged me 0.01 for the item; and $19.95 for shipping. Don't ask me why.

 

Got my center caps installed & put away those horrible hub caps.

 

I used the OEM Yaris caps I found on ebay and it worked like a charm as well.

 

Popped the covers off today and low and behold, real wheels. Got my caps on order from E-Bay for .01 and 19.95 shipping from China. Should be here next week. Thanks to you all for the info.

 

I think I figured out why they put them ugly wheel covers on. They are to protect the alloy wheels during shipment from Japan.:rockon:

Try superhappy-shop on E-BAY,$ 22.99 Inc.ship.for four,Toyota wants $ 25.00 ea.they are chromend are look very good,for 10-11 gen III.

 

I have been looking forever for some center caps but did not want to spend alot - I found some on eBay for only $5.00 including shipping! They fit great and look like great too- do a search for "Prius hubcaps" -plus I think they come in different colors too.

 

Those $5 caps look surprisingly like the knockouts that we're buying for .80 each.
With shipping and packaging costs, that's a pretty good deal. (especially if there are no size stampings)

 

I ordered the center caps and they took 3.5 weeks to ship from Parts.com. I highly recommend using eBay. When the Parts.com center caps showed up (finally), they fit great. Just FYI.

 

3+ weeks in my case. I'll never use that jacked up place again.

I just purchased the cap # 42603-52110. How do you install it? I tried to put them in but they don't seem to fit just right and I don't want to break it if it doesn't fit. Is there some kind of trick to installation?

 

Mine took 3 days from Parts.com and it came in a Toyota dealer's box with their name on it so they must source them from dealers. The delay is probably due to drop shipping from the dealer, maybe they have to find one that has them in stock. Parts.com probably gets wholesale pricing and passes the discount on.

 

Got em on! They look great! I just wasn't using enough muscle! My son just poped them in with no trouble. I ordered mine from Parts.Com and it took me about 2 1/2 weeks to get them. They arrived from a dealer in Florida.
