does the 2010 prius have a manual trunk release? I was installing a backup camera and accidentally closed the hatch after I removed the trunk garnish. The battery is disconnected.
Yes, there's a small lever at the back by the latch. You have to be able to crawl into the back cargo area and remove a small cover (p. 73 of the Owner's Manual, section on 'if the back door opener is inoperative').
Are you implying all your doors are locked and the battery is disconnected? If so, sounds like you need to take the mechanical key out of your smart key to unlock a front door (there in case the smart key or car battery is dead); then you may have to crawl to the back to reconnect the battery to unlock the hatch as usual or use the release lever described in the previous post.
