Return of the $3 center caps (with a difference)

    :)Hey Gang!

    I've been pretty happy with my $3.00 (now actually $3.52 + tax)
    caps, but found an interesting addon:

    TOYOTA 50mm Resin Sticker Wheel Center Caps 1 Set For Sale

    I filled the center space with 3M super stick trim adhesive tape to give more support- the medallion came with a very sticky adhesive already applied. I don't think that they're going anywhere.

    IMHO, it kinda finishes off the look.

    Opinions?

    Question: So do the Ebay caps fit the Gen III? I know they all say like 04-10 but not sure if they are the same size?

    Yep, they pop off and push back on. Most like the wheels better with them off, at least here on the forums. But driving around, I see most with them on... So it seems the fanatics prefer their cars with them off, while many people who simply buy the car for gas mileage just buy and drive. Just my observations.

    Where can I buy the blank caps? I like the black logo. I've never heard of ioffer. Like eBay?

    Hi fotomoto!

    I liked your application, but my local sign guys/vinyl graphics guys were WAYYY too expensive.
    I remembered back in the "old days" you could buy medallions for pretty much any car brand out there, and they would fit a lot of aftermarket wheel caps.
    I figured that they still had to be made.
    Wrongo!
    It took months to find this source. They're not up to the standards of the ones that I remember, but they're pretty cheap and they look good from a couple of feet away. They have a kind of "factory look".

    My lawyer will call your lawyer (as soon as he graduates from Law School- in about 15 years:eek:)
