Toyota just sent this out to dealers. There's nothing particularly new here but at least it is possible now to give something to your service advisor if they stare blankly. I also notice there is an "extenuating circumstances" clause, potentially useful if you visited a dealer before 50K miles with a complaint that they logged but didn't get anything done.

I received my notification from Toyota in today's mail. It describes what to do if you had a failure and what to do if you eventually have a failure.
There have been lots of complaints that dealers don't know what people are talking about when they show up to get HIDs replaced under the class action. The attached letter was posted on TIS yesterday. Now the dealers have no excuse for pleading ignorance. That's why I started the message with, "There's nothing particularly new here, but..."
