    This is posted in the wrong forum. The 2006 Prius is a Gen II, and this is a Gen III forum. The Gen III uses a different fob and battery, so this video does not apply.

    FYI--the Gen III fob is a different design. To replace the battery, you remove the metal key, and use it to pry open the case by inserting the tip into a slot at the top of the fob adjacent to where the key is stored.
