    DMV may issue new Clean Air Stickers to ORIGINAL owners of qualifying hybrids purchased to replace hybrids that have been subsequently declared total/loss salvage. Applications for replacement must be filed within six months of the date of total loss/salvage.
    All Clean Air Stickers remain with the vehicle they were originally issued to and cannot be transferred to any other vehicle. If you purchase a vehicle that has a Clean Air Sticker you may transfer the sticker to your name.

    Yes I noticed him the other day in Torrance as well. I suppose most others wouldnt even question it. Anyway its all over in July as the legislation is set to expire.

    Yes, I suppose its not over till its over. Prius owners coupled with the the dealer associatios prove to be powerful lobbyist.

    And in 2012 you can buy a Plug in Prius (when available) to get the new sticker color in California....so a 6 month minimum lag (the stickers are not available until the beginning of 2012 and the Plug in comes some time in 2012)
