I've been looking to get some drop springs for my Prius and have always loved the Eibachs. I've used them on almost every car I've had or worked on and both I and the customers were very pleased. I spoke to my old distributor and he said they didn't have any in stock, but could order if I could get 5 or more people interested. He just doesn't want to get stuck with them sitting on the shelf. Apparently the Prius owners don't frequent speed shops too often, lol.

If you guys/gals are interested what would be a price you'd be looking for, including shipping?

They are not, but I bet they could be included in the order. They said they need to order a certain number of pieces at a time to get better pricing.

I'm curious to see how a lowered prius would look with a set of these on.

I have to say and I'm speaking from experience as I'm still using them and love them. The Tanabe DF210's are awesome. For drop springs working with stock struts and shocks, the ride is surprisingly comfy. I have never had that same result without swapping to aftermarket shocks and struts with Eibach. Maybe just my experience with them, I don't know. I know they make stuff for other companies and that company rebrands them so they definitely make good stuff. maybe it's just been the type of cars I've put them on being V8 muscle cars as opposed to a 4cyl. cruiser.

Only took me about 2 hours by myself, but I also did strut bar and under brace at the same time so a little less if that's all you're doing.

The back of the cars naturally sit higher than the front to compensate for extra loads, i.e. people or cargo. The bigger drop in the rear gives it that level lowered look.

Yes they do come in both. The NF isn't as big of a drop and probably more comfortable driving although I seriously have no complaints as to how the DF210's ride. It's firm and you know you're lowered but it certainly doesn't beat the crap out of you like some other cars I've owned and put lowering springs on. I still to this day am still amazed as to how nice they ride, especially using the stock shocks and struts.

Oh and if you look, that R&D page just shows their coilovers at full up height and full down. It's not the springs comparison.

@Shawn - Yeah, I'm currently on the NF springs. Definitely not harsh at all, although if I had it another way, I wouldn't have wanted the rears to drop that much. IMO it kinda destroys the wedgy look of the Prius that I like.
I made that comment cause SamsPrius mentioned that Tanabes had NF250s and DF250s... I thought they came out with a new line I wasn't aware of....
Actually if you scroll all the way to the bottom, you'll have the option to tab back to their previous post. The last entry on the first page shows the pictures of the DF springs, the previous post page shows the NF springs. You just have to wait a bit cause the picts take some time to load.
    Sorry for hijacking this thread...

Actually most stock cars sit higher in the front. That's why most springs have a greater front drop- it's just the opposite you are saying. Maybe the GenIII Prius is opposite. But then Eibach got the right message (1.2"F/0.8"R)

Anyway, good and well-developed aftermarket springs (eg. Eibach) maintain, if not exagerrate, that raked stance w/ a lower front.

As HIMPG mentioned, a raked stance is prefered since a low/sagging rear end destroys the look.
