My 2010 V was built in 11/2009. Would a NAV dvd upgrade be of any benefit? Also, are there any installation steps needed other than taking out the old dvd and inserting the new one?
almost certainly not worth doing yearly...we changed out the Navi DVD in our Acura after 4 years, but there's a lot of new growth and development in South Florida.
I would not update it for at least 3 years, the cost is too prohibitive for the changes that may or may not be present in the update. Having said that, I there any difference (besides the splash screen) between the Lexus Nav DVD and the Toyota Nav DVD? Both my wife's HS and my Prius are 10's so will both need an update about the same time. Just curious if the Lexus DVD will work in the Toyota and vice versa. Sure would be cheaper to just buy one and burn a copy for use in the 2nd vehicle.
