I just bought the Katskinz leather interior kit but the steering wheel wrap isn't included in those kits. After my husband installs the leather I plan to make the steering wheel leather one way or another...I just haven't gotten that far yet.

I want the real OEM leather covered steering wheel, not the $50 stitched on thing.

I replaced my Mazda 3 steering wheel and it was very simple.

I've looked into it, but the $500+ for a new leather steering wheel is more than a bit too much.
I might look into an upholstery shop doing a cover for it, though.

I did exactly that on my 08. Found a good new leather-wrapped wheel on eBay and had the dealer swap it out. The total was in the neighborhood of $300 everything in.

I'm very happy with my steering wheel now, it has SUCH a better feel to it. Plus I think goes faster now :)
