Anyone used Pioneer Conversion, LLC in Illinois? I am considering going to a PHEV mode on my 2006 Prius. I did some google searches and some on here and foun Pioneer Conversion LLC in Lemont, IL. Has anyone used this company or heard of them? They are using the following per their web site (www.pioneerconversions.com) We are partnering with Plug-In Supply and Cal Cars to bring you the best option available for your Prius. Also, anyone have any real world experience with this Kit, probably th3 4kW-hr version in colder weather (Suburbs of Chicago)? Thanks, Phil W.

At the moment, Plug-In Supply does not offer a 4.3kWh conversion kit. I'm not sure where Pioneer Conversions are getting their batteries from, if they are using the 4.3kWh kit. The kit was put on hold a few months back. I know that the 10kWh kits are readily available. There's plenty of data on this forum regarding the 10kWh kit.
