Over on the Yahoo mailing list I saw a post by someone who had chatted with their dealer. The dealer had told them that the option packages are changing in June and that for example package #9 becomes package #8 Has anyone else been told this? I still have that post in my email to refer back to if needed Chris
I haven't heard any rumors about this anywhere. However, June sounds like the right time if something like that was to happen -- that's when new colors were announced for the Prius Classic each year after its initial release. I'd be more likely to believe new colors than new option packages -- unless maybe Toyota is eliminating one, period.
Sounds to me like the dealer is trying to inflate the price by padding the options. Haven't heard this. Nothing on the Toyota "Build your Prius" website either.
