We just landed in the US about a week and a half ago and just picked up one of the few 2010 Blizzard White III four days ago. Best decision ever. We put 300 miles on the car in those days and love the efficiency of the motor... It's not going to win any prizes for performance or handling, but it really changes the way you drive. I find myself backing off the pedal a lot just to see keep the "Eco" lamp on. I used to track an S2000 in the past, so this is a world of difference...and hopefully making a bit of difference as well... Here's a pic near the waters in Tacoma WA
Ya I ended up w/ a blizzard white, I had wanted the blue or red, but they sold from underneath me; I didnt realize it wasn't just a plain white till after getting the car... Now I know why it cost a few bucks more for this paint... it rocks.
It sure is! However it was not even on my long list of colors. But it was the only choice at the time. I have gotten to really like it and I am glad I didn't get one of the darker colors I wanted. Enjoy!
Blizzard Pearl was my wife's first choice and Sandy Beach (or whatever it's called) was her second. I'm glad we were able to find the Blizzard.
Congrats on your new Prius and welcome to PriusChat. Someone on another thread says that watching the dash is like playing a video game! Happy Motoring, Tom
Glad you're happy with your purchase...and able to convince yourself that metalic white is a great color.... Personally, I think it's way too popular and looks like cheap lipstick.
There's nothing cheap about my "Ruby Sue" and her Barcelona Red. Although when she paints up her lips and rolls and curls her tinted hair, she may get a little cheap looking if she's going to town! (Anybody know what song that line is from?) Happy Motoring,
I'm sorry...I'm being an @-hole... I'm not a big fan of Blizzard White....BUT...if you like it...Rah! Rah! Meh... Come on? Did you really want unconditional support? What's a sunny day without a few Blizzard White Clouds?
@ Hole! J/k I got the Blue Ribbon Metallic. I like the Blizzard Pearl. But most of them that are on the dealer lots have the Bisque interior and I'm just not a fan of lighter color interior. As I know I would probably have a hard time keeping it clean.
Yup, you sure did date yourself for a song right out of the...oh, let's not go down the "old" path, but let it suffice to say that I like Kenny Rogers and can remember when that song was modern! I hope y'all caught on that my Prius is called "Ruby Sue", not my wife! Happy Motoring, Tom
