New Prius Owner!

    Just bought the Prius II on Monday. So far I love it, and have been lurking on this board for a bit. Looking to begin the modifications. Would like to add some fog lights and the all weather mat in the back. My brother in law loved the car so much, he went and bought the III with nav, and moon roof yesterday!
    Anyways, I look forward to reading through all these posts and figuring more out about this awesome ride!

    Welcome! I am a noob myself. Just purchased the Weathertech all weather floor mats - front and rear plus cargo. A little more than I wanted to spend but the salt and the slush are trashing my new prius.

    Congrats!!

    Congrats and welcome to PriusChat. You'll appreciate your Prius stuck in that Illinois traffic. Be sure to read your owner's manual at least 2 times and check with PriusChat often.

    I am always amazed at how many new posts are up by the time I check back. With my old car's site, fordcontour.org there were barley any new posts!
    I also bought the weathertech mats from this site because they were cheaper than Weathertech's site. Instead, I purchased the OEM cargo mat instead of Weathertech.

    I also just got my (used) 2010 V with ATP. My coworkers, who were teasing me intitlally about the Prius, are changing their tune when they get a ride. Like "Wow, this thing rides great and seems huge", and "You're getting WHAT for your MPG?!?!" and "Wow! This really has some get-up-and-go!". Congratulations! You will LOVE it!!!:rockon:

    PS It is nice to belong to a car forum where there seem to be minimal problems to report!
