Hi everyone! My name is Aj and I'm new to the forum. I found this place while searching the internet for info on the Prius. I don't own one but I'm considering buying a new car in the next 6 months or so and the Prius is one of the cars I want to take a look at. I currently drive a 2000 Honda Civic. I'll be using this forum (or shall I say the entire site) to learn more about the car since I don't know anyone who owns one.
I think most Prius owners selected for MPG, emissions and technology; not necessarily in that order. As you've probably discovered, PriusChat offers a lot of experienced users, happy and not so happy users. I think you'll find this forum very helpful in your evaluation of Prius. Better get one quick because when gas goes to $4 a gallon this summer, the Prius is going to disappear off the dealer lots. I get 54mpg during the summer and am getting in the low forties now. Welcome to the chat line and will hope to see you posting in the future.
