Hello, My friend Robert is thinking of buying an 04' Prius with 120,000 miles for $11,000 from a relative. Do you think this is a good price? Thanks! Brad
Yes, good price for the relative, a quick look at ebay's prices (by it now) shows this high. I personally use Edmunds, put in the numbers and check private party sale, your number is high by thousands.
I paid $6,500 for our 04 inJune of this year with 101k miles on it. What package/options does the care you're looking have? Our car came with package 7.
I would say no. I just bought my 05 package 6 with 107k miles and new tires for 9000 from a dealer. M860 ?
I paid 17000 for a 2008 touring edition with 24K miles. The car has leather, nav, etc. The price seems a little high (11K for a 2004 with 120K). My other Prius is a 2004, loaded (nav, etc) with 105K miles. I am not sure of the value. On the other hand, gas prices keep increasing....
Yesterday I paid $11,000 for a 42K mile one owner clean carfax package 6 2005 Prius with Extended Toyota Platinum warranty good thru 2012. The Original owner has all service records which were performed at the dealership, and original paperwork including window sticker. Car has always been garaged and is in great condition. I'm excited to join the Prius club.
I'd say no. I paid either 6.9k or 7.9k (having memory block) for a package 5 2004 prius with 82k miles.
Thats too much. We got an 08 with a brand new hv battery pack and 95k miles in mint condition for 9500 from a DEALERSHIP! Ours has everything but leather.
check kbb.com. Tell him don't do it, his relative is trying to rip him off. Hell I will sell him my 08 that I recently purchased if he is looking to spend 11.
Going to be a new Prius owner of a used 07 Red Package #6 w/ leather, 90k miles, 1 owner, regularly serviced for $9600 from dealer.
Thanks to everyone who responded. I will pass on this thread to my friend and I'm sure it will help him! Brad
wow thats a pretty good price. I'm also looking to get a hybrid soon. Hopefully by the end of the month. Gas prices here in SoCal are increasing steadily by the day.
