Weird Symbol/light on navigation screen

    I am new to owning a 2008 Prius. Recently a weird yellow light flashes on briefly on the navigation screen at the top to the left of the outside temp posting. THis yellow symbol looks like a snowflake with a tent over it. Does anyone know what this is?!?!?!?

    If I understand your message correctly, your Prius is telling you that the outside air temp is @ or below 32 degrees, and to be alert for ice on the road.

    with the exception that the trigger is 37 degF. :)

    I suppose that's because it could be colder at the road
    surface than at the outside air temp sensor behind the grill.
