I didn't see anything in my search. Why is EV mode not available sometimes? i know for sure it isn't available when i start the car. But sometimes else it is not available. And I don't mean "excessive speed" or "low battery" i have tried to use it in other circumstances and I get the message EV mode is unavailable. This is after driving for some time.
There is a thread on here where someone with a Scangauge has determined that EV mode is not available if your coolant temperature is below 67 degrees F.
EV button mode is available when: HV system temperature is not very high HV system temperature is not very low ICE coolant temperature is above 20C (68F) SOC is above 50% Speed is below 40 kmh(25mph) Power demand from throthle pedal is below the limit Defrosting is off Tempomat is off
