Hi everyone, I can now justify buying some LEDs for my car since I had my rear light blow out. While I was shopping at Autolumination.com I noticed they have a brake light flasher for $5.00. The module only works with LED bulbs which the 2004 Prius has and needs two wires. Here is a picture of the wiring: Single Circuit ModuleIFlashing Module Instructions Does anyone here think this would work with the Gen II Prius? It's ALOT cheaper than the $35.00 Webelectronic version. Ryan
Works perfectly with my 2009 gen II. High mount LED's are hard-wired to it, with a dash switch to selectably enable the main tail lights at will.
If you get a brake light flasher, please get one that flashes a few times then goes steady. Getting stuck in traffic behind someone with a CHMSL that flashes the whole time their foot is on the brake is really annoying. A friend has one on his car that flashes 5 times then goes steady, it gets peoples attention without making the person behind him want to shoot it out.
