Hi all, Just found this site a couple weeks ago and it has been extremely helpful ,,,, been looking at 'smaller' rides for awhile and decided to go for it! I really thought about a Corlolla S, but after reading / reviewing / researching ,blah blah, I thought,, Prius!! I did a test drive of a II and III over the weekend and liked them both, but wanted a little more WOW! (as if MPG wasn't enuff), Just ordered a 2010 V model, no packages, I like the way it comes standard. It's transferring from another dealer so should be here in 2 -3 days. Blizzard white, Beige Leather, 17" wheels, Tinted windows, Bumper guard ? I'll be here regularly trying to to the most out of my new ride! BTW - Trading in my 04 Taco, been great but 20mpg hiway has got to go, new job is 50mi round trip daily..... cheers!
Thx man, About 2 mi to the Interstate, 6 mi to my exit, then about 17mi 2 lane 'rural' roads / rolling hills,,, should be pretty cool.... tk
Just ocurred to me, I signed on the dotted line and haven't even seen this car yet, what the heck was I thinking... MPG!!!
Welcome to another fellow NC'er. I have a similar 52 mile daily commute with mostly 60 mph highway driving. I average 48 mpg, 50+ mpg in the spring and fall and about 45 mpg during the cold periods like now. Enjoy your new car and all of its WOW !
