    You can bid on the first production Volt. Actually it's the 2nd production Volt as the 1st is going to GM's museum. Proceeds from the Volt auction go to help pay for messed up schools in the Detroit area. They may need to get a whole lot more than current $185K bid price, imo.

    For half of that you could probably buy one from someone who already "pre-purchased" one from a dealer... and it would be in better condition.
