Sorry, just can't contain my excitement! I don't know why I'm so excited... I have a lot of cars, however, they're all V8, rear wheel drive cars... Cadillac Escalade, Shelby Mustang, Corvette Z06, Ford F150, etc etc etc... And they all get... crappy mileage!

But, there's just something exciting about getting 50 MPG... On my first tank, I averaged 43MPG overall... Hoping that goes up as the car gets broken in.

Anyway, I got a package 4 in the blizzard white color with dark grey leather interior and a navi system. I wanted the solar roof, however, a lot of my friends are really tall, and I took a few of them with me to test drive it and the inch and a half or so that the sunroof takes away was just too little headroom. Plus, I never use the sunroofs in my other cars... and I'd probably never use the venting thing, so yeah, I didn't need it!

Oh, and PS: I didn't pay a PENNY over invoice... :)

Toyota of the Desert is the best dealer EVER! Highly recommended.

I'll attach pics if I can figure out how!

congrats! I had the same mileage when i got mine 12/09, around 43mph the first tank, then going up to a peak of 61mpg this summer. thats one thing unique about the prius, its amazing how much gas you can save, and even more if you just adjust your braking/driving habits.

Congratulations and welcome to the "club". I went from a high horsepower low gas mileage car to the Prius approx 3 weeks ago and am loving it. Expecially with the recent spike in gas prices! People at work laughed until I showed them the mileage calculation of my first tank. Last week a coworker purchased a Prius.
