looking for an iPod integration kit that doesn't lock control from iPod

    I'm looking to install an AUX out for my iPod in my 2007 base Prius. I do want to have control through the actual iPod itself, not the MFD. I haven't been able to find a thread that addressed this.

    Has anyone out there done this? What are my options?

    All of the Aux input adapters and most of the iPod/dock adapters will let you do that. The Dice Silverline allows you to control the the iPod from the steering wheel on one setting, the iPod from another, and a "smart" mode (limited control from the steering wheel and full control from the iPod). You may be able to upgrade your 2007 base with the Toyoya Aux input adapter (see posts in this forum).
