DUI Prius disaster caught on camera

LOL So funny, That was obviously wayy above .08 BAC. I wouldn't be afraid to guess a BAC of .15

Threadjack: Does anyone else think the Gen3 shifter is bass-ackwards and counter intuitive? Forward should be drive and back should be reverse?

3 out of 3 folks who had driven a (mine) Prius for the first time all said the same thing. Starting from neutral, most manual transmissions are up/forward for the first forward gear and back and down for reverse. Even floor shift automatics are back for R.

I would think this is not that big of a deal on the dash mounted shifter generations.

 

Any car I've had, all automatic, from neutral (not park): R is forward/up, D is backward/down. So no, I don't think the shifter is backwards.

My last manual was a six speed, so 1st was left and up, and reverse was far right and up.
