I hope to have my car next weekend. I'm already thinking of how to upgrade the stock stereo. I'm purchasing a #4 PACKAGE,so it won't have the JBL stuff I guess. Maybe a subwoofer or better speakers? Thanks!!!
I got a pair of Infinity component speakers installed in place of the front door speakers and new tweeters as well. In the rear doors I got Infinity coaxials. They are both driven by a Kicker 2-channel amp from the stock headunit. it sounds awesome, now that I've fixed all of the installers' mistakes. Don't run your wires over the battery, and make sure you mount everything under the door panels tight.
I am adding a powered subwoofer/line converter combo to a stock 2018 Prius C (level 1). What I would like to know is the location and color code for the rear speaker wires. The line converter will be tapped into the wires in order to bypass the bass issue with the stock head unit. My understanding that the color codes for the passenger side rear speaker are Red (+) and White (-). For the driver side rear speaker, it is Black (+) and Yellow (-). Is that correct ? And the speaker wires runs under the sill plates or....? Thanks for your time. Wayde
