Does anyone have any direct experience with the Soundgate TOYPDSDR. How well does it integrate with the car stereo (I don't have nav, just the base stereo). It appears to be relatively new and (in theory) addresses some of the weaknesses of previous IPOD solutions. They claim it allows (1) full dual control both from the car stereo as well as from the IPOD itself, (2) unlimited playlists and playlist size...
Yeah, same here, just came across this item when researching a different one from Soundgate...Nada, eh?
I used the HONPDSDR on my Honda GL1800 motorcycle and it works flawlessly. Same electronics, just a different wiring interface...
Heard back from one of the staff at Soundgate, apparently they no longer produce the TOYPDSDR...Said the market was shrinking for items like these and said it still may be available at various online vendors - but that the warranty would no longer go through the company
Thanks for the update. The place I was going to buy from was iPodCarPros.com I just checked and they don't have it anymore. I'll email them and make sure that it is not available.
