08 Touring with Bridgestone Turanza EL400 02, what tire pressure?

    I just bought a used 2008 Prius Touring model and it has Bridgestone Turanza EL400 02 tires. Max pressure says 51 psi.

    What do you recommend for tire pressure? I read a lot of posts about 42F/40R. Is that for all tires?

    my 1st set i kept at 44f 42r with good results and at 36k miles one blew out, so i keep my new set at 42f 40r

    Look inside the door jamb on the driver's side when you open the driver's door. There, you will see a sticker showing factory recommended PSI for the stock tires on this car (which, in the case of my 2008 Touring, were the Turanzas also).
