Can anyone email me a link or instructions on how to get the RH / pass headlamp assy out? Trying to replace the projection H11 bulb on the right side and my hands are too large to put it in correctly. 2010 Prius II I searched forum and cant find instructions for the 2010. I removed the two screws in the top and the plastic clip - but there has to be more holding it in there. I removed the bolt to the air intake also. email: [email protected]
First pic is from the owner's manual for bulb replacement. Second pic is from repair manual for headlamp assembly removal, after disconnecting the negative battery terminal, removing the radiator support cover, and removing the front bumper. This is one of the most advanced cars on the market, and as suspected there is a bolt in the bottom of the headlamp assy that requires the bumper being removed to get the assy removed from the car. Come on..... I thought only USA made cars made everything complex so you had to go to dealer.
