since when were moonroofs and laser cruise control available on the Prius???

I don't believe any other Prius have auto-door locks.

Because you'll never bring your car here. And if you do, then you may as well buy a local satnav.

Toyota are not going to design their system for the handful of people who work in the forces and will transport their car to Europe (or vice versa) for a temporary period.

Why not buy a local satellite navigation system locally and use that for the German roads?

Why no thermos and heated mirrors in frosty UK? Glad we have 16" wheels though.

Anyone know if the wiring is there for the heated mirrors? I could just import some heated glass replacements from the states

I believe the noise you are describing is the brake actuator, I haven't got the 12v socket on the right (I feel robbed!)

Toyota's EU website clearly states that their Nav DVDs are not compatible with the U.S.-spec Prius.

People have confirmed the same -- there is some kind of protection in the U.S. Prius which refuses to accept a European Nav DVD. There are hardware mods available, but it's a lot of work.

If anyone finds a way to make the U.S. Nav work in Europe, I'd be curious to find out... planning on shipping a Prius to Europe next year, so this would be very helpful. Things are not looking good though.
