Hey! I think all you all might be on to something...
an advertising campaign for the PHEV in 2012.

Three elements:
* The Prius' shape being similar to an egg.
* The egg being a symbol for new life, revitalization, etc.
* Easter likewise symbolizing rebirth, and even salvation.

Would be a natural extension of the theme of the initial 2010 advertising.

Nice colors. I'd love to see lots of Prii like them on the road to offset the
boring-to-me predominance of black/silver/white vehicles on the road.

What with the NFL's current breast cancer awareness campaign by
wearin' o' the pink, maybe you should consider calling yours "NFL Pink,"
or even "Linebacker Pink."

 

I voted for Ice-Blue Metallic. Blue is a non-natural color, and so it que's other drivers that that blob of color off in the distance really is a car. Its also light colored, so that at night, and coming out of the shadows, its more visible.

Can you tell I miss the light blue that was on my Gen II already?

If the gods intended us to drive pastel cars, they would not have given us testicles.

 

The blue is attractive, but not as an all over color. I was thinking of it as an accent color, or even as sparks along the front of the car. (electrical sparks instead of flames, as a custom paint job would be cool, on a Prius)

 

or... how about an easter egg design?

 

For me, it can be any colour as long as it's white.

 

Hey _Car, if you could do this color, now THAT would be cool. It's like a metallic brownish-gray.

 

The colour-phobic posters strike me as just a tad insecure. If you don't like the colour, fine, but it's hardly a threat to your 'manhood'.

So far, I like the night blue best. Something more purple would be even better.
