I disconnected the battery to put in the BluLogic Bluetooth system in my Mod II. I also disconnected it to start the wiring for the auto headlights and fog lights (replaced the switch lever and figured out the missing wiring, but nothing connected yet)..

sometime in these 2 disconnects something changed.
the seat belt warning for the drivers seat doesn't work, but does for the passenger side.

the light blinks, and I get 5 beeps.. and the light goes off when I buckle the belt.. but it used to start to beep rapidly at about 30 seconds.. no more..

    did I change something somehow?
I unplugged and replugged connector L7, but didn't add or change any wires (all while the battery was disconnected)

I don't have any suggestions but do you want to trade cars? I have a 2010 and my seat belt warning works perfectly. Darn it.

The dealer can disable it (I had that and the reverse beeping disabled, and a few other annoying items taken care of before I took delivery).

Near the back of the owners manual is a whole chapter of dealer configurable features.

Mine refuses. Changed everything else I wanted done but despite my showing him otherwise insists its against the law to disable it.
